Jeanne Dielman, 23 Quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles (18)

Chantal Akerman’s remarkable 1975 Belgian epic of everyday life topped the prestigious Sight and Sound 2022 list to be voted the Greatest Film of All Time in this once-a-decade poll.
Here Akerman presents three days in the life of a widow who lives with her teenage son, and who prostitutes herself at home in order to make ends meet.
This International Women’s Day screening is a rare opportunity to see the film on the big screen and will be introduced by Dr Alison Criddle, Art Historian.
