After a year filled with emotions and challenges following the loss of founder, Simon Emmerson, in 2023, the legendary Afro Celt Sound System, pioneers of the contemporary world music scene, return more determined than ever to honour his legacy and spread their vibrant and inspiring music across the globe.
Delivering mesmerizing and unforgettable performances, they will celebrate life, music, and Simon Emmerson's legacy on a unique sonic journey, blending the captivating rhythms of Africa and the Celts.
Signed to Peter Gabriel's Real World Records, they have collaborated with some of the biggest names in world and folk music, including Peter Gabriel, Robert Plant, Sinéad O'Connor, Michael McGoldrick, and Davy Spillane, and are now lead by legendary Guinean musician N'Faly Kouyate and British Indian dhol drummer Johnny Kalsi.
