WHAT'S ON AT THE EDGE THEATRE, MANCHESTER
The Edge Theatre & Arts Centre, Manchester is an award inning theatre that opened in 2011. Hosting some of the best small scale touring productions as well as in house theatre, it showcases plays, musicals, comedy, dance, exhibitions, new and premier productions, and classics. With a seating capacity of 82, this former Red Cross Hospital is a hidden gem.
The Edge are very proud to have three award-winning Patrons: Sir Mark Rylance, Julie Hesmondhalgh & John Thomson. The Chorlton based theatre provides numerous creative opportunities for its community such as acting, singing dancing, learning the Ukulele, writing, painting and drawing to name a few. The Dressing Room Café is an award winning café and a dedicated catering and restaurant training facility for adults with learning disabilities.

There is some on street car parking is available near The Edge Theatre.
The nearest car park is The Square Shopping Centre Car Park which is a 5 minute walk away.
The nearest tram stop is Chorlton with a 5 minute walk. Turn right out of the tram stop and follow Wilbraham Road on foot, heading towards Chorlton.
The capacity of The Edge Theatre and Arts Centre is 82, with varied layout options.

Monday – Wednesday: 9am – 8.30pm
Thursday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
Saturday – Sunday: closed (unless there is a show on)
