Altrincham & Sale Choral Societies - Dream of Gerontius
Altrincham and Sale Choral societies join forces with the Manchester Philharmonia Orchestra in celebration of Steven Roberts 30 years as Conductor of ACS in what is widely regarded as Elgar’s finest choral work The Dream of Gerontius.
ACS were preparing to perform this momentous work for their 75th anniversary concert at the Bridgewater Hall in 2020. Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic prevented this from happening, however, they are pleased to revive the programme – this time with friends from Sale Choral Society to augment the choir.
