Three old school friends, now in their seventies, meet every month for a catch up in the Cosy Cafe.
Fiona is married to Ray, who bores her rigid, Geraldine is single and longs for love and romance, Margaret is married to Ted and would be happy with a week in Blackpool.
Spurred on by Geraldine’s call to make the most of life before it is too late, the women embark on an hilarious course of action, to dust off the cobwebs and to seek out new thrills.
But how will Ray and Ted react, and will Geraldine score a 10 with her Salsa teacher?
In a culture that favours youth over experience, where ‘old biddies’ aren’t given a second look, Biscuits urges older women to ‘Carpe Diem’ – to seize the day, standing proud in the shadow of lives well lived.
