The band that brought you the hits EAT MY GOAL (1996) and... EAT MY GOAL (1998) are back! Collapsed Lung, brit-hop iconoclasts and pranksters (established 1992) return to Manchester with their freewheeling, genre-hopping, social-commenting, huge beat-having hip hop fusion. After storming the Academy 2 last year, opening for Cud and Pop Will Eat Itself, they've been gagging to do their first Manchester headline show since [checks notes] 1996! And here it is, in an early Festive Season visit to the renowned Gulliver's. Since re-activating in 2015 they've released two DIY masterpieces - 2019s ZERO HOURS BAND, and 2023s COLLAPSED LUNG WEEKEND TELEVISION. Have they grown up? Not necessarily. But the beats and lyrics are defintely harder and angrier respectively.
