Crush
With lush expansive guitar tones, dense instrumentation and textures, Crush are a Manchester based four piece making heady and hypnotic music. Harbouring echoes of shoegaze bands such as Slowdive, the band was formed in 2018 whilst studying at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute and have been building a name for themselves ever since.
Finding a niche in the shoegaze realms of their intricate sound, with nods to guitar music of the late 80’s and 90’s, they have embed the silky delicate vocals of ‘Wolf Alice’, with the ominous guitar of ‘My Bloody Valentine’ to create a romantic, ethereal sound, almost impossible to define by genre.
