Cyfred
Cyfred Siemela, a.k.a. Cyfred, is a producer, vocalist and DJ specialising in amapiano bangers.
After initially starting out as a dancer, the Polokwane-born artist ventured into music professionally after finishing high school.
In 2019, Cyfred made an impression on listeners through his charismatic vocals on Caltonic SA’s “Heat Overload”. That same year, he released his debut EP, 45 Degrees Piano, with features from Unlimited Soul and Musa Keyz (his bandmate in the duo The Yanos).
Cyfred’s breakthrough moment came early 2020 when the rapper Seekay performed a viral freestyle over the hard-hitting “Alostro Effect”, leading to an expanded version of the track known as “Snake Park”.
Cyfred showcases his growth and constant evolution by incorporating soulful sounds and elements from the homegrown genre bacardi.
