Eclectic Manchester-based multi-instrumentalist David Woodman’s music inhabits the space where country, blues and folk intersect.
With songs celebrating the power of kindness and connection; evoking the transatlantic influences of James Taylor, Richard Thompson, Bruce Hornsby, Mark Knopfler and John Mayer, alongside instrumental tracks which showcase his innovative use of hammer dulcimer, which has gained an international audience with compositions that took the instrument far beyond its traditional roots, following the trail blazed by Ted Yoder and Max ZT.
