Rapper, singer-songwriter and record producer extraordinaire, London-born Elliot John Gleave (a.k.a. Example) took his stage name from his initials "e.g.", the abbreviation of the Latin phrase meaning "for example".
The first artist signed with Ministry of Sound label imprint in 2009, he enlisted the help of some heavy hitters in the world of electronic music – like Calvin Harris, Sub Focus and Chase & Status – and has gone on to top the charts in the UK with his Platinum-selling records including "Changed the Way You Kiss Me", "Stay Awake", ""Kickstarts".
Throughout his career, Example’s sound has evolved to see him bridge the gap between pop, rap and electronic music, culminating in collaborations with artists like Calvin Harris, Wretch 32, Professor Green, and The Pet Shop Boys also delivering success.
