Finley Quaye

MOBO and BRIT award-winning artist Finley Quaye scored international success with the double-Platinum selling 1997 album "Maverick A Strike".
The Edinburgh-born, Manchester-raised soul and reggae singer made his recording debut in 1995 on A Guy Called Gerald’s "Finley’s Rainbow" before scoring solo success with the UK Top 20 hits "Sunday Shining", a loose Bob Marley cover, "Even After All", and "You're Love Gets Sweeter", which featured in the popular Granada TV series Cold Feet.
His reputation was established by Maverick A Strike, leading to him winning the 1997 MOBO Award for best reggae act and the 1998 BRIT Award for Best British Male Solo Artist.
In 2004 the song "Dice", in collaboration with William Orbit, and featuring Beth Orton was a minor hit, helped in part by its inclusion on The O.C. soundtrack.
