Artist-in-Residence Thomas Ad?s ?most recent major chamber work Alchymia is the centrepiece of a concert for clarinet and string quartet, featuring Sergio Castell? L?pez and Roberto Ruisi. Written in 2021 and ?woven from threads leading out of the alchemical world of Elizabethan London?, each of Ad?s ?four movements takes a simple idea and transmutes it into something rich and strange.
