Hazmat
Hazmat are a grunge rock trio from Wrexham, North Wales, currently based in Liverpool.
While feeling disillusioned with the current state of pop culture and music, being raised on the abrasive streets in their working class town has influenced their sound by adding a gritty edge paired along with lyrics that connote their lived experience. Heavily influenced by 90’s rock and grunge powerhouses such as Nirvana, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Pixies; HAZMAT’s sound features hallmarks of the genre such as overdriven, dominant guitar riffs, mind-bending solos and dark lyricism.
