Introduction to Playwriting Course
The Octagon is excited to announce a five-week Introduction to Playwriting course for adults.Work with the Octagon?s Literary team to learn about writing dialogue, how to craft compelling characters and the ins and outs of plotting. Workshops will comprise of group discussions and individual writing exercises. The group will all work towards writing a short play of their own (approx. 8-10 minutes) by the end of the course.This course is aimed at people who are new to writing and haven?t yet written a full-length play.The course will run at the Octagon on Wednesdays, 6.30-8.30pm on the following dates:Wednesday 25 SeptemberWednesday 2 OctoberWednesday 9 OctoberWednesday 16 OctoberWednesday 23 OctoberPlaces are limited so we recommend booking early.If you have any questions about the course, please email participation@octagonbolton.co.uk
