Few of today’s DJs can boast a pedigree like Jon DaSilva who was recently voted #25 in Iconic Magazine reader’s poll of All Time Top 50 DJs. Considered to be Hacienda’s most singular resident DJ, Jon Dasilva was fresh to the scene in '87, finding DJ inspiration in the House and Disco DJs of deepest New York and Chicago, amidst a sea of influences, from Bowie to Dub Reggae to Kosmische Musik to Disco. His broad musical tastes and ability to work so many genres into proper dance floor action mark Dasilva out as a next level DJ.

Perhaps his greatest legacy from that period was his imaginative take on the idea of the DJ set. Not content with simply mixing one track into another, Dasilva wove a capellas and sounds effects into a broad selection of House, Acid, Disco,Techno and Breaks, intuitively mixing in key, building a set dynamic that until then was rarely heard on UK shores.

He has taken – and continues to take – his singular sets across the globe. His freshness of approach is still legendary, and his penchant for the varied shades of acid, techno and house, as well as his keen nose for sniffing out the most interesting modern producers, are always evident.

More recently, Dasilva has forged an ongoing relationship with the London club night, I Love Acid and the club’s promoters, Posthuman. I Love Acid won Best Club Event in DJ Magazine’s “Best Of British” 2019.

Isabella Pakulska (aka Isa) is a Polish-born Manchester-based electronic music composer and live performer. Graduating from Manchester School of Electronic Music in 2016 she made her first steps into sound design and composition as well as performing on the local scene. Sonically, Isa marries her two main music passions - Black Metal with heavily distorted, spaced-out guitar riffs and Techno with a lot of emphasis on solid four on four drumming and experimental sound design. In 2021 Isa released her debut album “Ketamine 666”.

PAUL HUGHES

Another Mancunian legend and avid acid houser, there aren’t many venues in the city Paul hasn’t played at! From a residency at The Hacienda’s DRY bar to appearances at Afficianado and Electric Chair, Blue Dot Festival and more, he’s played with the best including Al Kent, DIY, Unabombers, Joe Clausell, warm-up duties for Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnson’s seminal Love from outer space (ALFOS) nights and with Steve Davis’ Utopia Strong.
