Legends of Steam Dining Experience

Coming to see the Legends of Steam in March? Take your visit with “Britannia”, “Leander” and “Sir Nigel Gresley” to the next level and include a no holds barred, Premium dining experience, the perfect capstone to what is already sure to be an incredible day.

Once you’ve finished exploring the line with these iconic engines, you’ll want to get into your finest evening wear and prepare for the night of your life. On your return to the station you will be greeted by live music, entertained by a platform magician and get the opportunity to indulge in freshly prepared canapes.

Crisp white linen, polished wooden panelling and luxurious surrounds await you aboard the beautifully restored Pullman style carriage. Once you are settled into your seat, one of the starring locomotives of our gala will take you on a trip through the scenic Irwell Valley, during which you will enjoy a sumptuous four course, silver served meal.

The evening commences at 6:45pm where you will be checked in and directed to the middle platform for the prosecco and canape reception. You will be advised of your table number and carriage when checking in. The journey lasts just under 3 hours with a return time of approximately 10:15pm.

The dress code is formal black-tie/ball gown.
