Loyle Carner
Described by The Observer as "one of hip-hop’s most affecting new voices" and "a shining light for UK hip-hop" by Metro, Brit and Mercury Prize nominated Lambeth rapper Lyle Carner reached no.3 in the UK with his second Top 20 album, Not Waving, But Drowning in 2019.
Although he is a lifelong supporter of Liverpool F.C., he paid tribute to his stepfather, a passionate fan of their rivals Manchester United who idolised Eric Cantona, with the song and tour, titled Cantona, wearing his stepfather's No.7 Cantona shirt on stage.
