Make It Coconut Pyramids
Join us for a hands-on baking workshop where we?ll be making the delicious sweet treats, coconut pyramids! Discover why these tasty snacks are traditionally eaten during the Jewish festival of Passover as we explore stories from our collection. We?ll decorate our pyramids with a drizzle of chocolate and you?ll get to take them home with you, along with the recipe to make it for all your friends and family. You?ll also get a chance to explore the museum and try out one of our family activity backpacks! WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW This workshop is open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Ingredients are vegetarian, and the recipe contains eggs. Please email elly@manchesterjewishmuseum.com with any dietary requirements. ACCESS Our new building includes step free access to the entrance via a ramp, a lift to the first floor, level access throughout the ground floor and accessible gender neutral toilets. GETTING HERE We are just a 15 minute walk from Victoria Station and Manchester?s Green Quarter. Both the 41 and 135 buses stop on Cheetham Hill Road within 100m from the museum?s entrance at the Elizabeth Street and Derby Street stops.
