This enchanting piece, often performed at wedding ceremonies, comes from the opera "Solomon" and captures the excitement of a lavish state visit by an exotic foreign queen.
Since launching in 2019, Manchester Baroque has built a reputation for engaging and vibrant performances of historical music on period instruments.
