Matzah in Minutes Passover-inspired workshop for all ages

Join us for some Matzah-making fun to mark Passover!
Learn the art of home-made Matzah baking, which uses two very simple ingredients ? flour and water. Try your hand at making it as fast as you can and see if you can keep the dough in motion. You?ll get to go home with some baked, crunchy treats!
Matzah, an unleavened flatbread that is part of Jewish cuisine, commonly eaten during Passover
During the workshop you?ll also find out about the importance of Matzah to this festival and the practice some Jewish communities observe of not eating leavened foods during Passover. Learn about the custom of hiding a piece of matzah, (or afikomen), in its own cover, to find in a fun game! Be inspired by a cover from our collection and make one to hide your own matzah in.
You?ll also get a chance to explore the museum and try out one of our family activity backpacks!
