Liverpool Rap/Drill artist Malcolm Graham, aka Mazza L20, gained recognition for his music in 2023 by illegally releasing freestyles on social media from his prison cell.
He would go on to collaborate with Aitch, Potter Payper, and Loki while his viral hit "Murdaside" would reach the UK Top 20, racking up multiple millions of streams and views.
Yet all this was achieved while he was behind bars for his involvement in gang-related activities - he was jailed for 11 years in 2016, aged 19, for possession of a firearm used in a murder.
He hit the headlines once more in prison for illegally recording TikTok and YouTube videos, with his lyrics boasting of his violent crimes and use of weapons paving the way to a successful career in the music industry and over 800,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone.
