Off The Rails Comedy Club Saddleworth
Held on the last Sunday of every month at The Royal George, Greenfield, a large country pub set in the stunning Saddleworth countryside, Off The Rails comedy night hosts some of the biggest names in comedy.
Attracting eager comedy fans, from Manchester to Huddersfield, who descend on the venue which faces Greenfield rail station. On the opening night they discovered the trains stopped at 3pm so, what better name than Off The Rails?
Notable appearances in the first year included Justin Moorhouse (who is still an Off The Rails regular), Ian Cognito, Alan Carr, Jim Jefferies, Gary Delaney and John Bishop. In addition to seasoned pros we always include a newer act on each show and Sarah Millican, Jack Whitehall and Paul Smith were all happy to oblige!
