Recognised as one of Norway?s foremost international performers and composers, Kraggerud is celebrated for his creative approach to music-making. He seamlessly blends virtuosic playing with improvisation and often invites audiences to shape the direction of a performance. His carefully curated programme to reflect our Dance:Music theme spans centuries. It features works that range from the delicate elegance of Bach?s Goldberg Variations to the nostalgic charm of Kreisler?s Liebesleid. Kraggerud?s own Variation Suite offers a modern reimagining of classical styles, while Grieg?s Holberg Suite highlights the folkloric textures of Scandinavian heritage mixed with Baroque dances. Each work reflects a new way of exploring tradition, making this a concert that bridges past and present with effortless artistry.
