The programme showcases Ravel?s rich and evocative piano repertoire, with Osborne performing solo selections from Miroirs, while students explore the two-piano piece, La valse, and staff join Osborne for the multi-hand work, Frontispice. Boulez?s Douze Notations adds a striking contrast, and Marie Ja?ll?s Les beaux jours offers a lesser-known gem. Closing with Osborne and students performing Ma m?re l?Oye, this concert offers a vivid interpretation of Ravel?s music through collaboration, artistry, and shared musical insight.
