Award-winning Ragged Edge Productions presents a hands-on, hilarious, creative get-together where everyone can help create a new hit Musical show. The Birch the Puppet Musical!|
You'll make a puppet character to appear in a unique musical show that celebrates where you live. The eclectic creative team combine a BBC radio producer, a sustainable arts practitioner and a composer for stage and screen! Together, they will take you on a fast, fun-filled journey to create the puppets and the story, and they add the hit songs. YOU won't be on stage, but your puppet WILL!
Suitable for ages 5 years and older. Adults particularly love this show too!
No previous experience necessary. Fully accessible venue.

Ticket prices include basic environmentally friendly and recyclable puppet-making materials. Refreshments will be available, including soft and alcoholic drinks and snacks.
The running time is approximately 2 hours, with an interval of 45 minutes and 35 minutes (roughly 2 hours).
Artistic Director Stefan Escreet is a director, actor and radio producer. Stefan Escreet has worked in the creative industries as an actor, director, radio and theatre producer for many years. He has appeared in and directed productions in theatres all around the country. He was a Radio Drama Producer for BBC Radio Drama North, creating programmes broadcast across the Radio 4 schedule. Stefan worked as Theatre Lead Artist for Prism Arts, which delivers arts programmes that empower people with disabilities. Stefan is a visiting tutor in Radio Acting for the Manchester School of Theatre and runs Radio Acting Days for all.
