Having co-released the first 2 tone ska single, "The Selecter", reaching UK no.6 in 1979 as a Double A-side with the Specials' "Gangsters", they were one of the founding acts of the movement and went on to be one of the most successful bands in the genre, notching up further Top 40 hits with "On My Radio", "Three Minute Hero", "Missing Words" and "The Whisper" in 1980.
