World Book Day Event

Celebrate World Book Day with us this February half term!Get ready for a day full of imagination and creativity at the Octagon Theatre?s family-friendly event.Here's whats in store:Interactive Storytelling: Told by a storyteller, with musical moments that bring the story to life.Family Drama Games: Get creative together - create characters and become storytellers.Costume Corner & Book Nook: Dive into our collection of costumes and books.Arts & Crafts: Let your creativity shine!Dress Up Fun!We?d love to see your little ones (and grown-ups too!) dressed as their favourite book characters.Event Details:Our World Book Day celebration is FREE, but we ask families to book a time slot. Each slot is 1.5 hours, and you can arrive anytime within your slot so arriving earlier is recommended to enjoy everything.This event is part of our Sharing Stories Community Project, funded by The Oglesby Charitable Trust.
