We chatted to Louise Dearman about the one-off concert, Hallé - Tony Bennett: the Music and Songs of a Legend, taking place at the Bridgewater Hall in Manchester on Saturday 25th May 2024.
From his recording debut in the 1950s to his collaboration with Lady Gaga, Tony Bennett’s seventy-year career has been characterised by class, style and an ear for a great song.
In this spectacular programme, conductor Richard Balcombe, the Hallé and vocal stars Lance Ellington and Louise Dearman perform the songs that made Bennett a star.
