Manchester to Host the MTV Europe Music Awards 2024

MTV have annoucned that their star-studded EMA ceremony will take place this November at the brand new Co-op Live in Manchester, the UK’s largest arena.
Founded in 1994, the awards are the sister event to the US-focused VMAs, with the awards stretching beyond Europe to include music from around the globe, with award categories for individual European countries, the US, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Australia and New Zealand.
It is the eighth time the event has come to the UK, although the first to the "Music Capital", having previously visited London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool and Belfast.
The 2023 in Paris was cancelled due to the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war.
It is set to take place on 10th November 2024, with ticket news set to be announced shortly.
