Manchester Opera House is one of the largest theatres in Manchester with a capacity of 1920 seats. The Opera House opened in 1912 and is one of Manchester’s premier venues. Hosting musicals, dance, opera, comedy, concerts and the family favourite, the Christmas pantomime, the Manchester Opera House is the perfect venue for theatregoers.

There are a number of Q-Park and NCP car parks within easy walking distance from the theatre.  The closest car park is Spinningfields NCP.

Alternatively you can park at other car parks in Manchester, with 15% off through Q-Park - click here for more info.

There is accessible parking at NCP Spinningfields and NCP Great Northern which are located close by to the theatre.

Deansgate Train Station is the nearest station to the Opera house with a ten minute walk.

Oxford Road Station is a 15 minute walk.

Picadilly Station is a 22 minute walk.

The nearest tram stop is St. Peter's Square and is a 7 minute walk.

If you would like to buy a ticket in person from the Manchester Opera House Box Office, they open for 90 minutes prior to the performance commencing that day. Alternatively, you can see what's on and book online here.
