South-London's finest rhythm and blues group, British blues rock institution Nine Below Zero have released both commercially and critically acclaimed albums since being formed in in 1977 by guitarist and lead vocalist Dennis Greaves.
Named after the Sonny Boy Williamson II song, their line-up over the years has featured Alexis Korner, Gerry McAvoy and Brendan O'Neill from Rory Gallagher's band, and Yardbirds harmonica player Alan Glen, while they have shared stages over the years with Chuck Berry, The Kinks, The Who, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, The Stranglers, Squeeze, Jools Holland and Paul Jones.
