Daoirí Farrell
Daoirí (pronounced ‘Derry’) Farrell has been described by some of the biggest names in Irish folk music as one of most important singers to come out of Ireland in recent years.
Described by The Weekend Australian as "The finest Irish male folk singer-storyteller this side of Christy Moore and Paul Brady.", since launching his own solo live career in 2016, Daoirí Farrell has gone from strength to strength with numerous honours from BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards to ALSR Celtic Music accolades and worldwide touring.
He has also received endorsements from the likes of Christy Moore (“Daoirí has assumed the mantle of Luke [Kelly]”) and Mark Radcliffe (“What a voice”).
