FKA twigs
GRAMMY-nominated, multidisciplinary Cheltenham art pop star Tahliah Barnett, better known as FKA twigs, is a singer, songwriter, creative director and dancer known for her avant-garde performance style.
Her work has garnered acclaim and has been described as "genre-bending",drawing on various genres including electronic music, trip hop, R&B, hyperpop and avant-garde.
Her first album LP1 (2014) reached no.16 in the UK charts and was nominated for the Mercury Prize before Magdalene (2019) cemented her status as a once-in-a-generation talent, reaching no.21 in the UK.
In 2015, twigs joined Manchester International Festival for a standout ten-day residency and in 2024, she starred in the gothic film The Crow alongside Bill Skarsgård.
Set for release on 24 January, Eusexua is inspired by late nights spent in Prague’s underground techno scene. The album is co-produced by Eartheater and long-term collaborator Koreless, and will be her first studio album in half a decade.
