Sultans of Ping

Sultans of Ping

Irish punk legends Sultans of Ping were formed in Cork in 1988, gaining attention (as Sultans of Ping F.C) with the single "Where's Me Jumper" in 1992 - which was later used as the closing song in the Irish comedy, "The Young Offenders" - and followed it up with the UK Top 30 hit "You Talk to Much" in 1993.

Famed for their energetic live shows, memorable dress sense and wit, their debut album "Casual Sex In The Cineplex" also reached the UK Top 30 in 1993.
